Artists of all kinds went mad over shimmer last fall while showing the S/S 2010 runway collections. We saw this trend rising in fashion, beauty, footwear and even accessories. However, we love the varying luminous effects this heavy metal trend lends the beauty industry. Dior drops Sharon Stoned
Dior dropped Sharon Stone from their ads in China after her shocking ‘karma remark‘ at Cannes. Chinese Cinema banned her films all over the country. Her apology was not accepted as genuine and the Chinese Media called her the “public enemy of all mankind”. Whose karma is it now? Ok, everyone parties at Cannes, but when you are a public figure you really have to watch what you say to the press the next day, because one wrong word can change the world. Sharon-heart-of-Stone claims that the Dalai Lama is her friend. Seriously? Real friends or Myspace friends? If she is so adamantly opposed to the way Chinese treat Tibetans then why did she willingly become the official face of Dior in the East? I wonder what her “friend” Dalai Lama thinks of her now.
Who do you think should be the new face of Christian Dior?
