Kitten Heels on the Rise
Like it or not, kitten heels are on the rise! I’m not talking about higher heels- I’m talking about their popularity coming back in style. Don’t turn up your noses too quickly, designers have modernized the look with some amazing prints which is causing a huge craze! This is good news for those of us who can’t wear our mega-high heels in our everyday lives. Now we can all be fashionable (and comfortable). Here are a few really fantastic styles I found that would be a great addition to any wardrobe:
Stuart Weitzman Poco – Adobe Serpent, $298.00 at Stuart Weitzman
Manolo Blahnik Tortoise-Print Patent Pump, $575.00 at Bergdorf Goodman
Jimmy Choo Gala Patent-leather Pump, $595.00 at net-a-porter

Heart felt jewels
Window-shopping at Etsy, (yes, again) I came across these felt jewels at Vaivanat’s shop. Classy and bold women’s accessories handmade from felt wool. The Elegant Black and White Ardea Dahlia Felt Flower Brooch can be worn with a jacket, cardigan or blouse and the Sea Buckthorn Orange Berries Felt Necklace will adorn any low cut top or dress. Pieces come in a multitude of colors and designs and are all unique and numbered.

Quand c’est beau, c’est beau
Bravo, Nicola Formichetti! For a beautiful styling job on the Gary Card story in the new issue of AnOther Man. Gary Card is a young and hip set designer that has taken London by storm at 26. There is a magical harmony between the sets and the styling which drew me to this spread. Great melange of colors, forms and undeniable Paul Smith attitude.

Ode to Owens
Oh, where art thou Owens? We miss you. You have abandoned your urban jungle for greener pastures without looking back. Where are your asymmetric tops and gentle fabrics, your modern cuts and subtle tones? Paris gets you, I know, but so do your roots.
