How To Wear Print Dresses

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Thank goodness for summer! One thing I love to wear in warmer weather is tons of colorful print dresses. The key to wearing prints is mixing and matching your accessories just right so you don’t overwhelm your look. Print dresses are especially perfect in the spring and summer, and I’ve chosen four styles to show you how to wear!

A printed maxi dress looks great with chunky wedge sandals, for a bohemian vibe. Paired with some large hoop earrings, oversized sunglasses and a tote bag, you’re ready for the beach or just a lazy Sunday stroll around your city.

The cocktail dress gets cute with a solid jewel-tone bodice and contrast print skirt. This dress can be paired with some funky, colorful stilettos and a bright satin clutch. In this instance, go bright or go home!

The Best Nude Shoes for Summer

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

One of the hottest footwear trends this season is the nude shoe. These earthy nude colorways help create the illusion of super long legs by blending in with your skintone. Beso.com has helped me find my top picks for the season. These beauties are flawless, gorgeous, and have me daydreaming about how I should use my next paycheck. Find your perfect pair on beso.com…

Only a tiny shred of sheer willpower is keeping me from ordering these babies online right this minute. I love the minimalist wood heel and the nude color is spot on for spring and beyond. Loeffler Randall “Esther” Wood Heel Pump, $450.00.

A great update to the gladiator sandal with some added height and a simple, earthy cork wedge and nice crisscross t-strap detailing. Nine West Getby Platform Sandal Wedge, $78.95.

Kitten heels are also making a tiny comeback, and this little pair is so dainty and sweet with the bow and peep toe. Great for a summer wedding or an outdoor dinner date. Kate Spade Lora Sandal, $285.00.

Super simple thong sandals with an understated gold Tory Burch emblem for wearing to the beach and beyond. Tory Burch Thin Rubber Flip Flop, $45.00.

I couldn’t resist throwing in a pair of moccasins (they’re nude-ish colored right?) and they are a great hippie twist on this trend. These pair well with any casual, boho-chic outfit and are super comfy. Deerskin Thunderbird Moccasin, $45.95.
